    Reading the article I’m not sure its dead or just misapplication by some users. Twitter is ideal for author who need to establish a brand and can handle unfiiltered contact with their public as you step further away from single person branding the filtering gets in the way of interaction I’m not sure that closing a doorway to customers is ever a good thing or to be celebrated but oh well

Much easier to deal with, at least for people who don’t know how to manage email.
